Why can't I apply date formatting on that cell in Google Spreadsheet? I am trying to switch from some US format (mm/dd/yyyy) to the ISO 8601 format (yyyy-mm-dd).
When I click on 2008-09-26 in the format->Number menu, nothing happens: the A2 cell stays in US format.
