I have two email accounts say x@gmail.com and y@gmailcom. I am able to import emails from x@gmail.com to y@gmail.com by the standard way as follows: login to x@gmail.com > settings > see all settings > Forwarding and POP/IMAP > Enable POP for all mail > disable IMAP > login to y@gmail.com > settings > Accounts and Imports > Imports mail and contacts >.....
Now my main question is the following : If the account x@gmail.com is deactivated, then will I be able to still see in y@gmail.com the mails I imported from x@gmail.com? i.e. is this same as backing up emails?
Any suggestion is welcome.
