Change mature Google account into child one

tl;dr: How to "convert" adult Google account (with fake birth date) into child account and add it to my family account? Each time I change birth date to real one, accounts gets blocked, because in Poland only adults can have a Google account. Is there anything I can do about it?

A couple of years ago I have registered a Google accounts for my daughters. The sole purpose was to block others to register @gmail.com address with their names. Because you must be adult in Poland to have Google account, I have provided a fake birth dates.

Both accounts are used under my strict supervision, if that matters.

Some time later Google has introduced family-oriented solutions, so I have added both accounts to my own Google account as a family member. In the same time, I have noticed that certain options (like highest levels of payments authorisation) are disabled, because Google assumes (based on fake birth date) that connected account belongs to an adult person.

For this reason, I'd like to change both fake-adult accounts into child ones (by correcting birth date). But, each time I try, accounts gets blocked by Google (due to owner not being 18 years old).

This is quite stupid, because when I see that child account through my family account, Google even encourages me to correct the birth date (suggesting that it may be incorrect). And when I really do this, it blocks that account. I thought that in this case, it will check that account is a part of family and allow change.

Is there anything I can do about this? Is there any solution to add an existing adult account and then change it to a child one?

Or the only option is to enrol a brand, new child account, through my family account?
