Steam hides what it considers "off-topic" reviews. This is triggered when there is a large amount of reviews posted in a short period of time. Usually negative reviews (usually called "review bombing", even though sometimes they're for legitimate reasons).
Steam signals that there's been a period of off-topic reviews with an asterisk "*" next to the review score. Like you can see here on the page for Slay the Spire 2.
This off-topic filter is ON by default, and what it does is hide the off-topic reviews and not count them for the overall review score shown at the top of the store page. But people can turn it OFF from their account settings and they will see the off-topic reviews and the overall score unfiltered.
My question is: if I leave a positive, on-topic, review, while there's a wave of "off-topic" negative reviews going on, does my review get hidden and not counted too, for being in the same period? Or not?
