When searching with Google, when I click the AI mode, a large grey textbox with a prompt "Ask anything" appears in the middle of the results page, covering the search results almost completely. This renders the AI mode in Google search unusable for me. Browser: Google Chrome on Windows 10 PC.
How to get rid of this useless annoying box? I checked that the flag #enable-lens-overlay is not listed among the Chrome flags.
Note that I am talking about an overlay box over the search results in the middle of the page, not over the address bar. The problem seems to be rather specific to Chrome. In Firefox the grey box also appears near the bottom of the page, but it is smaller, so that it does not completely cover the search results. In Edge, similarly: smaller grey box.
Note: I post this question on the Web Applications site because the question is about Google search features.
