When searching on YouTube, sometimes the search results are very cluttered with short, gimmicky videos called 'Shorts'. I suspect these clutter the initial pages of search results disproportionately badly atm because these 'Shorts' seem to get large numbers of views, hence they find their way to the top of results. But they're often insubstantial and often undesirable.
Is there a way to ensure 'Shorts' don't appear in and clutter youtube search results?
What I know so far
A (sort of) work around is to select either the '4-20 minutes' or 'Over 20 minutes' duration filter, but unfortunately you can't select both of those filters (i.e. you can only have either or) and this also rules out other short videos that aren't 'YouTube Shorts' but just happen to be of a short length (i.e. under 4 minutes), which sometimes contain good content. So this is far from perfect, but is at least helpful in removing Shorts.
