My wife and I both use Yahoo Mail. On 2/14 she stopped getting Yahoo Calendar reminders. She got a reminder in the morning, for a recurring event, but since the middle of the day on 2/14 she has not gotten any calendar reminders -- for recurring events, new events, moved events, etc. I've tried creating new events with all sorts of different configurations -- email-only reminders, mobile/desktop-only reminders, both types of reminders, different flags/event types, etc. -- but no reminders get sent.
What's even weirder is that when I look at an event on her calendar, it shows no reminder is set... even for reminders that she has definitely set up in the past. If I create a new event and set a reminder, the reminder will save, but within a minute or two it will show no reminder set. If I share her calendar to my Yahoo account, and open her calendar from my account, I can see all of the reminders, but they don't show from her Yahoo account.
Has anyone come across a similar situation? This is very weird and I'm unable to find a cause. I've tried creating a new calendar for her and setting up reminders, but those don't get sent either. Giving myself edit permissions to her calendar and creating events for her similarly doesn't work -- I can see the events and see the reminders, but she doesn't receive them.
Any help is appreciated. She has no other problems with her Yahoo email account -- she can send and receive emails normally. The calendar reminders aren't filtered to her spam folder.
