My wife is on the board of a charity and other people in the charity are getting spam emails trying to scam money. In this email my wife would be Jane Doe. Most of the people at the charity use their personal email addresses (Gmail in this case).
I'm not sure if they can use a @mycharity.org email address for official business. Is there a good way to block emails that try to appear to be from a specific user likeJane Doe <foobar@virginmedia.com (mailto:foobar@virginmedia.com)> without quitting Gmail?
My wife in this case would be jane.doe@gmail.com.

I am currently out of the office and have limited phone access. Would you be able to handle an operating expense for us?
The treasurer is unavailable to take care of it at the moment. Also, please inform me of your preferred payment method: Paypal, Zelle or CashApp, so I can send you the vendor's information. I will have your reimbursement processed once the treasurer is available.
Kind Regards,
Jane Doe
