I've been researching this for a while but haven't found a definitive answer. I came across this link with many users expressing frustration over the inability to block entire YouTube channels, but there were no clear answers provided.
Does YouTube provide any reason or explanation for not offering a feature to completely block an entire channel? Block--meaning you will never see a single video from that channel ever again with your logged-in user account.
From a software development perspective, it seems feasible to implement such a feature, so I'm curious about the rationale behind this decision. Does anyone have insights or official statements from YouTube on this matter? It's clear that this feature is in high demand and seems like YouTube refuses to implememt it; probably because it could be devastating on their bottom line?
