Limiting the number of Gmail Labels and Filters

I'm trying to organize my Gmail inbox by using labels and filters, especially as I have a few Twitter accounts that need separate addresses.

So lets say my email address is:

myrealname@gmail.com

And lets say I would like to filter/label my inbox like:

myrealname+twitter.primary    - Twitter/Primary
myrealname+twitter.secondary  - Twitter/Secondary

If I have 3 twitter accounts it now ends up being:

myrealname+twitter.primary.one    - Twitter/Primary/One
myrealname+twitter.secondary.one  - Twitter/Secondary/One
myrealname+twitter.secondary.two  - Twitter/Secondary/Two

Is there another way to just use the Primary/Secondary filter, while still being able to have any number of .? after it?
