How to count wins, losses and ties based on multiple conditions

I'm very new to Google Sheets.

I have a sheet where I record the outcomes of games played.

  • Each row represents a single game
  • Column A, Map, stores the name of the map that was played.
  • Column D, Result, contains either Win, Loss, or Tie.

Sample Data

ABCD
1MapResult
2Mirage10/1315/3/14Loss
3Nuke113:718/1/13Win
4Inferno13:1018/3/17Win
5Mirage116:1213/3/23Win
6Mirage115:1513/5/22Tie
7Inferno1:923/8/22Loss
8Vertigo17:136/1/9Loss
9Nuke113:715/6/16Win
10Inferno13:109/6/18Win
11Vertigo116:1424/21/5Win
12Overpass13:1118/14/2Win
13Mirage8:1314/15/2Loss

Count by Result

I created a formula using COUNTIF that returns the total count based on the Result (outcome) entered in the cell above it.

=COUNTIF($D$2:$D$13, G$1)
  • formula is in G2 and was also copied to H2 and I2
FGHI
1MAPWINLOSSTIE
2All741

Count by Result and by Map

Similar to my formula above, I'd like to return the total count but by Map. For example, if the Map is Mirage then the total wins, losses, and ties across all games played on the Mirage map only.

How can I do that?

Desired Results

FGHI
1MAPWINLOSSTIE
2All741
3
4Mirage121
5Overpass100
6Vertigo110
7Inferno210
8Nuke200

Sample Data
A picture of a small part of my sheet, here you can see the different maps in bold colors and the wins, losses and ties that are connected to each map

Sample Results
This is how I am going to showcase the wins, losses and ties in total for each map in the game
