tl;dr: When trying to login to Google account and getting "This phone number has already been used too many times for verification" error, is there anything else that I can do except for using another phone number (which I don't have)?
Just about 1-2 minutes after creating my new Google account and accessing Gmail, I was logged-off automatically. After trying to login again, after passing a vast number of information screen about the need to verify my identity, after solving all the damn puzzles I was hit with the following error:
We’ve detected unusual activity on the account you’re trying to access. To continue, please follow the instructions below.
I don't know what that "unusual activity" could be, because all I did was to create an account and open a Gmail. But, anyway, the only option I am left with is to use my phone, either to receive a phone call or a text message.
But, when I am trying to use my own phone number, I am getting:
This phone number has already been used too many times for verification
I don't know what Google guys are playing it, but the thing is that:
I have never ever used that phone number with that account before (and I have used it to verify just one another account).
I don't have any other phone number than my own.
Is there anything else that I can do in this situation, except for asking my neighbour to act as me and provide Google with his phone number?
