I work as a developer and I wanted to try and create something for my wedding so that during my reception guests can take photos with their phones and text it to somewhere and then have it shown on a slide show that would be put up on a monitor.
I thought of doing something like having them text it to a gmail address but I'm not sure it will work, to use their api to download the attachments to my machine and have the images fed into the slideshow.
Do you guys know of some kind of services that are already built that could do something like this? I don't want to just do a regular digital picture frame because I want it to be bigger than that. I want it to be easy for people to take pictures with their phones and share them and the best way is texting that I could think of.
