My Instagram account got hacked recently, and the hacker went a step further by enabling Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) using their own email address initially, but now they've somehow changed it to mine.
I managed to regain access to my account by resetting the password, but I'm now facing an issue with the 2FA. Whenever I try to log in, it asks for a 6-digit confirmation code from an authentication app that I never set up. It's frustrating because I can't secure my account completely with this 2FA obstacle.
