This is a segment of a sheet which records/calculates Forex rates obtained.
The issue is that I am calculating the highest (best) rate obtained in cell E2 and then attempting to highlight the (any) cells which meet that value in the range B4:J27. Just to be clear, the values in columns B,F & J are derived by dividing the values in the € Got cell by the value in the corresponding £ Used cell.
In the Conditional Format, I am using the cell range B2:J27 and selecting Is equal to and cell $E2 but this instruction appears to be ignored and nothing is highlighted.
Is this because values in calculated cells are ignored for Conditional formatting rules purposes and if so, what work-around or different mechanism is available to achieve highlighting cells in the three € Rate columns B,F and J?
