We are on the non-profit version of Google workspace. I'm trying to solve an issue for my boss.
He's using the latest version of Chrome browser on the latest version of OSX on his Mac computer.
He's using the Gmail client in the Chrome browser. His Chrome browser is syncing with his work account on our Google Workspace domain (lxxx.rxxxx@agohq.org)
In his work Gmail, when he clicks on a link to a Google Doc/Sheet that is in 'inline' in an email that someone sent to him, the document opens in a new tab opens in the browser accompanied by an alert that he's currently viewing the Google Doc/Sheet from lxxrxxx@gmail.com rather than his work account: lxxx.rxxxx@agohq.org.
He is then offered the opportunity to switch accounts to his work account.
I cannot figure out why is this happening if his browser is synced to his work account (lxxx.rxxxx@agohq.org) and he's looking at his work account email (lxxx.rxxxx@agohq.org) AND, the email with the link was sent to his work email (lxxx.rxxxx@agohq.org) and not his other gmail account: (lxxrxxx@gmail.com.)
Why is the googledoc/sheet/etc. opening up associated with his lxxrxxx@gmail.com and not his lxxx.rxxxx@agohq.org (google workspace) account?
