So I am in charge of keeping track of stats in a online gaming league. I have set up a Google Sheet to keep track of records (wins, losses, Draw. and records between each competitor.) But I have hit my limit of my Knowledge, and I'm at a loss. I have been been doing a lot of manual steps that can lead to human error. Attached is a link to what I have set up in google Sheets. Maybe what I'm asking can not be done in Google Sheets I don't know. I Have put the questions below.

- Is there a way to make a button so it will automatically add a match and adjust for each match size to the correct number of competitors? As it sits now I have to copy the match from above down and then delete all data and then enter the new data. but would like to not have to do the copy and delete step.
- Is there a way to get sheet to recognize a match so I do not have to go and manually add the results to the overall sheet? this leads to a chance for human error. I have set some tricks to try to eliminate this but it is sloppy. when I add to Purple or dark gray it would add the opposite Column on the opponents record. So I only have to input the number once in the Records. (See Below)
Again I'm not sure if these things can be done in Sheets. but I thought I would see if anyone could help me. Thank you.
