I get a ridiculous amount of spam to my outlook email which isn't detected. I linked my Hotmail email to my Gmail email via Gmailify in the hope googles spam filter is better.All the spam that isn't detected by Hotmail is picked up by Gmail, when I look at my Gmail inbox all the spam is in the 'spam' folder along with everything else that is in the 'Junk' folder in Hotmail.However when I view my emails on outlook or my phone, some of the emails that are marked as 'spam' on Gmail are in my inbox and haven't been moved into the 'junk' folder.Is this expected? does Gmailify not move the email when spam is detected and only flag it on the gmail inbox?I have made sure there is no Hotmail filters etc interfering...
hotmail has an email folder marked as JUNKgmail has a tag for spam, howver the junkfolder does not show in gmail so I assume hotmails junk folder is just renamed to spam in gmail
Is there anyway to get this work?
