I had created a Facebook group ("Arvada High School Class of 1982") that has 49 members and a bunch of posts; unbeknownst to me, somebody else created a Facebook group with the same intention ("1982 Arvada Senior High School") that has 266 members and a bunch of posts.
At this point, we'd like to merge the two groups since they really serve the exact same purpose, and I'm happy to close mine since it's the smaller of the two. I'm now an admin on both groups so hopefully that will make things easier.
I've been googling how to merge Facebook groups, and all the results I find are either confusing (one page I found said that when you follow their directions, it makes all pages admins) or onerous (manually copy each member, each photo, and each post from the old group to the new group).
Is there any straightforward way to merge these two groups?
