My Facebook accounnt was hacked and the password was changed. I realised because I received an email about the password being changed and about a number of email addresses I didn't recognize, being discontinued from my account.
I successfully tried changing my password and then logging in but was asked for an identification document. Upon submitting my ID card, I received an email from Facebook saying that my account would be deleted as I was under age, which I can assure you, I am not.
I have tried appealing to this decision through Facebook help center but when I try to submit my request, it tells me to try again later.
On Monday and yesterday I sent a number of emails to appeals@fb.com, support@fb.com, and disabled@fb.com but have received nothing at all. Is this normal? Should I wait longer? Or are the email addresses a dead end? Does anyone know of. Batter way to solve this?
Thank you,
Vic
