I had an internet failure yesterday and in order to open a support ticket with my ISP, I should use the fallback to the cellular connection with my router.
I was surprised when it came to getting emails from GMail through TheBat Software. It reported:
FETCH - Server reports error. The response is: -ERR [AUTH] Web login required: https://support.google.com/mail/answer/78754
for all my mailboxes.
Now that internet access is back I've been able to get email through The Bat as usual and received Google security alert mails:
Sign-in attempt was prevented
How to tell Google to stop "protecting" me and to tell that I know all the security cons and I want to take the risk of loosening security rules for my account?
(of course, I'm not that naive and I know that Google's primary job is to collect my personal data).
P.S. I think it's a very bad idea to discuss Google's behavior on Google's own forums.
