I have three different Gmail accounts. I have a phone with AquaMail. I have a PC with Thunderbird which is set up to combine all the accounts using POP, thus keeping a permanent copy of everything on my PC. The only thing that doesn't work properly is that if I send an email from my phone, though it is correctly replicated in the Sent folder in Gmail, it is not included in the POP download to the PC, so it doesn't get replicated in Thunderbird. According to Google help, this is intentional behaviour - emails sent from clients using SMTP "are marked as having been already downloaded", so are not available to POP. This causes me a problem. How do I get copies of emails sent from my phone into Thunderbird?
