I'm currently staying in South Korea, and won't be back to US until next year. And one technical inconvenience is that I can't receive text messages from my bank or credit card company. They allow only US phone numbers linked to my account. And there are times I need to call in for them to verify my ID (which can be done hassle-free if I am able to receive a text message). But international toll free numbers are not really toll free, and sometimes I have to wait over 10 minutes on the line to be put through. So I was just wondering if I can get a US virtual phone number that could only be used to send and receive text messages. If I am asking a question in the wrong forum, I am sorry. And in that case, I'd appreciate it if you could tell me where I should ask this question.
