I want to know via my email that I have received a Facebook Messenger message (rather than push notifications via Chrome, etc.). I see how to turn on/off email notifications for Facebook comments but not Messenger messages. There isn't an option at messenger.com and there isn't an option in facebook.com/settings?tab=notifications. Can it really be the case that there is an option to be notified of a public Facebook comment but not when someone sends me a private message via Messenger?
Any input would be greatly appreciated!
