I am not sure how to disable the "new friend reports" feature aka "[User] is now friends with [friend]" from showing up on my friends' timelines on Facebook. Online I have been able to find ways to disable notifications for new friend reports on Facebook in years past, but since the UI got updated, Facebook has moved where to disable this feature. I tend to add a bunch of friends at once, and I don't want to clog up my friends' timelines with this info.
