Error while creating YouTube channel - "A name has not been set for this account. Please try again when a name has been set."

I am trying to receive ownership of a YouTube channel. But I get the error "Failed to accept invitation".

Also I am not able to create a new channel.

I am unable to change/set the account name. Unable to set nickname/change name of Google account
