How to follow one side of a street in Google Streetview laterally?

Whatever I try with Google Streetview (on Windows PC, in Firefox browser, could use some other browser if that helps), I always just "succeed" in TURNING the picture, so that I'm unable to "follow" the houses of some side of a street. For example, if on one street side, the houses are numbered 1, 3, 5, etc., and on the other side 2, 4, 6, etc., and if I entered the address "X-street 200", I would then like to be able to see the houses 202, 204, and so on, without endlessly trying to get the picture there, and finally having to enter "X-street 202", and so on, for every single house there.

I probably don't "get" how Google Streetview works, but I tried for hours, over the months, and any Streetview "help" to be found in the web, does NOT address this problem.

Of course, I don't know how Google Streetview cars do the filming: first one side of the street, then turn, and to the other side, or if they really have some 360 degree camera, so that what I need may be technically impossible, or then just with additional software, server-sided, but which Google doesn't make availabe since they probably want to prevent the user to get a "complete" view of one side of a street, even for just some houses in a row.
