I'm tired of Facebook and the only reason I'm keeping it is that I use the login in quite a few places. I also have some facebook business pages that I manage that I need access to.
I have already set everything to private, made it where people can't add me to posts or see my profile. In the meantime, I'd like to take the step of defriending everyone.
With 900+"friends" that's a pretty daunting and monotonous task. I've tried a couple of chrome extensions to no avail. Both of the ones I tried resulted in errors. I made sure to deactivate any plugins that might be interfering with it just to be sure that wasn't the cause but they weren't. I thought about writing some javascript that would crawl the page of friends and simulate clicking the button, watching for the popup to appear, and then confirming it but they've made the page more complicated. You have to click the icon, then click remove friend and then click a confirmation which is really annoying.
Anyway, I thought one of you out there might have the answer, so I'm turning to the power of the Internet to see what I can do. :)
