I have a GMAIL account that pulls emails from myemail@mydomain.com via POP3 setup. It works fine and i'm receiving all emails into my GMAIL account as intended.
Now i've setup GMAIL to forward all emails matching * to 2 other email accounts using the Filters - because the default "Forward a copy of incoming mail to" feature can only work with one email address.
So the setup is something like this:
- Email is received at my official email address: myemail@mydomain.com
- mygmail@gmail.com pulls all emails from the official address into its inbox using POP3 feature of GMAIL.
- Gmail then forwards the received email to two other email addresses (my team members)
The #3 part dont seem to work. However I was able to test that my filters are setup correctly because if i send email directly to mygmail@gmail.com, then the emails get forwarded.
So it seems GMAIL fitlers seem to detect only on RECEIVED emails sent directly to itself, and not pulled in from other accounts via POP - > although all emails end up in the GMAIL's inbox.... the filters don't seem to run on the inbox itself but upon "arrival" of email sent to GMAIL directly, at least that's how it seems to work for me.
Any ideas / suggestions how to get gmail to PICKUP and FILTER all emails in the inbox, not just the ones received thru regular incoming process?
The problem now is I can't seem to get it to work.
