sold my old Android phone, factory resetting it first, without thinking of logging out, so now the new owner who lives 500 km away can't login without getting my account and password. I don't want to pass on this information of course. I thought I could just remove the device from my account settings and then have him hard reset the device again and start over with the initial setup, but it keeps being locked to my account. There must be some way, that I, the previous owner can remove this damned device from being locked to my account without having to get the device back to me again, and without handing over my very private account settings to a stranger.
