Currently my GMail inbox has the number 30 in a red circle next to it. I'd like to get that number down to zero, but I can't figure out what it's actually counting.
If I do a search for in:inbox label:inbox is:unread
, I get thousands of results. I can delete them page by page, 50 at a time, and once in a while deleting a page will cause that number to drop by two or three, but certainly never by 50.
Is there an actual gmail search query I can use that will give me the exact list of emails being counted by my "inbox unread indicator"?
